July

In addition to dedicating our Bargain Bin sales section items to be donated to Red Deer’s Fostering Hope Animal Rescue Foundation, we were also able to fund over 10 items off the shelter’s Amazon Wish List, including items such as digestive probiotics, food supplements, slow feeder bowls and more. 

 

Community Involvement 2023

January - March Donations: 

A portion of every sale made in January, February and March was donated to the Central Alberta Child Advocacy Centre. 

 May

We sponsored a Pizza Party Lunch that included fresh fruit, refreshments and additional take home nutrition for a RDPSD Grade 1/2 Class.

August

We were able to fill and donate several preloved backpacks, full of new or like new school supplies to the Mama's for Mama's Red Deer Back To School Supply Drive.

December

December proceeds were donated to a Lyla + Wren customer’s family, whose young daughter was in the fight for her life at the Stollery Children’s Hospital. We also organized and hosted an online auction for the family, raising over $12,000 for them while they remained at their daughter’s side. 

 

 

Community Involvement 2022

Summer Charity of Choice:

Red Deer Firefighters Children's Charity

A portion of every sale made in June, July and August was donated to the RDFCC.

 

October Food Drive:

School Lunch Items were collected all October long, being donated to local Red Deer Public Schools at the end of the month. Food Items that were unsuitable for lunch/snack use, were donated to the Red Deer Food Bank.

 

November + December Toy Drive:

New in package toy and gift items were collected November through December, being donated to the local Red Deer Ronald McDonald House.
